Chiropractic care is a mode of manual therapy. Treatment typically consists of manipulation and mobilisation of the joints, work on the soft tissues and advice on self-management.
A chiropractic appointment is typically 10 to 15 minutes. Wear loose clothing for your treatment. Please tie up long hair and remove any items which may interfere with your treatment, such as jewellery or belts.

Spinal manipulation involves having you lie in a position with my hands on the area I will be working on. I will stretch the area, then apply a quick and precise movement. You will feel a stretching sensation and may hear a noise coming from the joint. Spinal manipulation improves joint mobility, reduces muscle pain and nerve irritation.
All new patients are required to undertake an initial consultation prior to commencing treatment.

Western medical acupuncture is a therapeutic modality adapted from Chinese acupuncture, using current knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
